In projects that are appropriate for HR4E software, data collection and analysis is fundamental. Teams employing the HR4E approach ensure that individual health records are created for each patient evaluated, and that the records obtained are stored in a standards-based format that promotes data interchange, analysis and aggregation.

We’re focusing on electronic health records — the most viable type of individual health record for developing countries. HR4E-copyrighted software and educational material is available free-of-charge to anyone who agrees to the standard open-source licensing agreement (APACHE 2.0) we require.
